What different regulations could force them to keep the stores seperate?
True, they could up its position on the store, but it may take away spotlight from new releases.
Does this even exist though? There maybe such regulation, but I never heard of it.
Pretty much nearly big online store sells that specialises in physical goods also off some non-tagnible product or license to something. Cannot see why Steam can't go about this in reverse.
OK, I get the point that Valve might not want to take user's attention from gaming, but they can they really lose by allowing us to buy physical stuff off Steam? Heck, can't the link even open up the webpage on our designated favourite browser?
