OPT-OUT Option for controllers and consoles !

I want a Opt-out option so i can make sure that im not up against someone using a controller or playing on a consol like e.g. Xbox, Playstation or Nintendo !

Why i want that is because thous consoles got buildin aim assists and aimbot in their systems to make it easyer for their user to hit their targets in game genres like e.g. First person shooters !

And "opt-out consols & controllers -> PC with mouse & keyboard only" special in first person shooters and other competitive games !

Except that it's already possible to do such things. You might want to ask yourself why game devs don't already implement such systems.

Being wary of overly opportunistic and poorly thought out suggestions doesn't mean a person isn't open-minded. Some of us are trained to see the problems so that they can be overcome.

For PC, there is no aim assist. For consoles, there is aim assist, and most console players are playing “cross play” with the other consoles.

These devices act as a passthrough for controllers on PC and console and, when used improperly or maliciously, can provide a player with the ability to gain an unfair gameplay advantage, such as reducing or eliminating recoil.

Testing is complete: This detection is deployed globally on all platforms.

Users across PC or console who are detected to be using third-party hardware devices to impact the Modern Warfare II or Warzone 2.0 gameplay experience will first see a warning about the improper use of these devices (screen below).

Continued improper use of these devices may lead to additional warnings, the deployment of mitigations, account or feature suspensions, or the banning of the offending account across Call of Duty titles, per our Security and Enforcement Policy.

We will continue to monitor this new detection’s effectiveness and update our systems against further circumvention over time.

We know players have been asking us to examine the improper use of these devices and we’re happy to lay the foundation for this detection to protect against unfair play across PC and console.

And that further enforces that it's on the game devs, what people have been telling you. And that aim assist there is software based.

you can get similar hardware for mouse aswell .. special wireless mouse that is connected through a Pi_blueberry device for it to be harder to detect, so the source codes can be on e.g. a phone and sending it through the pi device to the wireless mouse, so what this means is that there is no source codes on the mouse or in the computer/console !

Again that is a talk about cheating .. and not a talk about Opt out crossplay !

There is no mythical aim assist built into a controller, if you wish to claim otherwise you need to be able to actually provide a source for your claim. Saying it exists doesn't magically make it so.

Using those can, and likely will, get you permanently game banned from a game. That also means No refunds for banned players.

Don't advertise cheating hardware.

Those other ones will get people game bans, not sure why OP thought it was a good idea to use those as an example since it's already not allowed.

RUST bans certain controllers or hardware devices from being used because they have cheating software/macros included. They eventually made it detect it and prevent the ability to play until it's removed, or unless the firmware is flashed by the manufacturer to a cheat-removed version, though such players even suspected of cheating while that's plugged in (usually by observation) will be banned without hesitation.

OP seems to have missed we're talking about official controllers, not cheating devices.

Attempting to hide or deceive the anticheat, developers or game server admins/moderators will only result in a swift game ban.

Yep, as already mentioned cheats are not controlelr specific, a mouse or PC player can have a cheat as easily as someone playing with kb&mouse, hence why the idea makes no sense.

Your far more likely to find someone cheating on KB&M then you are on a controller on PC, and CS GO as repeatedly mentioned doesn't have crossplay

Aim Assist always beats mouse and keyboard, but that isn't even the biggest problem. You could say "If you think controllers are better, just play with a controller too". And that's a valid point.

However, you can buy a mouse and keyboard adapter, and then get aim assist with your mouse, and that falls under cheating.
