Keyboards and stuff are common and easy to acquire. Valve would be trying to break into a already competitive market and would really need some out of the norm to offer or a very competitive price. Personally I don't think it'd be worth the time, effort or money.
That said just because I would buy it or believe it'll be worth it doesn't mean it wouldn't be. So not getting a +/- from me either way

indeed it does support the developers i forget how much of a cut of the proceeds they get from the merchandise but i know they get something at least
