Remove From Wishlist
Please make the wishlist button on the item page work as a toggle. More often than not I want to remove something while I'm on the store page. When I want to remove something, I don't really need to see my entire wishlist to do it. It's kind of a pain to do it that way anyhow, since it just redirects to the top of the list, not the item itself. If you have a lot of items on the list, you have to dig through the whole thing to find it.

There should still be the "remove" button on the wishlist though. That way we can remove an item while just browsing there.

There is, right under the game name on the Wish list there is a "Remove" text. Click it and it's removed from the list.

???

I'm not quite sure what you are saying here. Is this a response to only the last paragraph? If so, what I'm saying there is; if my suggestion to make the button on the item's store page a toggle is implemented, then the ability to remove while on the Wishlist page itself should also remain.

Good idea.

This isn't quite true.

From the store page, select the text containing the name of the game near the top of the page.
Copy the text to the clipboard. (OSX: command-c || Windows: control-c)
Go to your wishlist.
Type the keyboard shortcut for "Find". (OSX: command-f || Windows: control-f)
Paste the text into the search field. (OSX: command-v || Windows: control-v)
Unfortunately you might have to remove the "®" (Registered) character from the text, because it's used on the store pages, but apparently not the wishlist pages.
Hit return, and this will jump to that game in your wishlist.

Also if you can type decently, simply typing some of the words of the name of game into the search field will also work.

+1 here, I can't undestand why this is not possible and why the Add to wishlist button is working only one way - you can add a game to wishlist by checking it but you can't remove the game by clicking it again and uncheck it - instead of that you are taken to your wishlist.

I think everybody knows copy/paste and searching, but when you have hundreds items in wishlist it's very annoying also because wishlist page is not very optimized and it loads very slowly.

Agree with this suggestion. No reason there can't be a button to undo an accidental -- or overly hasty -- click on adding to wishlist.

Can't believe they still have not fixed this! sometimes i ll add a game to my wishlist and then come across it in a shop page, read some recent reviews and decide it s not something I want to keep. I cant be bothered to switch to my list and then look through bucketloads of games to find it and remove it. As someone already wisely suggested: MAKE IT A TOGGLE! It really can't be that hard!

I can't understand why it doesn't work like that anyway, would seem like a far more sensible option than the current system. accidentally add something to wishlist? you have to load your wishlist, go and make a coffee while the list loads, then use ctrl-f to find it and hope that it actually does something when you eventually do find it and click "remove", otherwise have to load steam, open the steam web browser and repeat the entire process again... or they could just make it so you can click the button a second time to cancel it

And once again on this. Just wanted to create same post!

Every time, I see the game, click on game store page, it shows that it is on wishlist with checkmark! Bingo! I click on checkmark, expecting game to be removed from wishilst.

Bang!

Not That Fast Boy! Steam ways are not convenient and easy. Please, see you whole wishlist first. Starting at random point.

Now, to actually remove the game from wishlist I have to find it second time, now on wishlist and click remove.

Steam UX designers, why? Please, share your wizdom! Or fix it.

Two days ago, I wanted to remove something from my list. I forgot I already made this thread, and was considering making one just for this topic.

This threadis more than a year old now. Is this even being acknowledged as an issue by steam?
vioray 2018 年 9 月 12 日 下午 3:03
I don't think Steam believe in acknowledging issues unfortunately
the only reason I can't criticise Valve on their customer support is that there simply aren't any examples of it to judge
