PGP Chat and private message encryption

the title says it all, would be pretty cool if we could use enter our private key in to the client to encrypt communication

Just post your private key on your profile and have your chat partner use it to encrypt your chat messages, and then they can use your public key to decrypt them.

They're not going to bother. Chat is explicitly defined as 'public' information. Assume anythign and everything across it is viewable
