Steam should show the ProtonDB rating in the store.

The title says it all: Steam should show the ProtonDB rating in the store. IE: When you go to a game in the store, If you are a Linux or SteamDeck user, you should get the ProtonDB rating somewhere on that page. Preferably near the buy/ download button.

Why use something that only a very small subset of players would benefit from?

Or, just use the proton site which says about how compatible it is and runs

I like the idea, but I don't think it should tie in to ProtonDB exactly. I think Valve should implement their own ProtonDB-alike in Steam itself that Linux users can report to directly from within Steam. Like a separate review score, but just for compatibility with Proton.

Fascinating! They aren't crowdsourcing it then. That's a departure from their usual strategy for these kinds of things.

That's all good and all, but I believe it should be implemented on the Linux version of Steam as well. I shouldn't have to buy a Steam Deck to get this feature. Since they are instituting in the Steam Deck, just do it here too. I hate finding find a cool game to play, just to find out after install that it won't work on Linux (New World, Destiny 2, etc.). I love what ProtonDB has done. I dislike having to use it every time just to see if a game will work. Having the information right in front of me would be beneficial in several ways. Mainly saving time and possibility money. Besides, not everyone knows about ProtonDB or WineHQ.

I'm a Kubuntu user and this is an awesome idea. I would love to see this added if not a link to the protondb for each game. This idea makes Steam money because if I am not sure of compatibility I don't like buying games.
