Why doesn't Ubisoft put covers, banners and logos for many of their games ?
I think Valve should force the publisher to update or impose additional penalties/royalties, I have lots of Ubisoft games in my library that don't have illustrations like Splinter Cell, Zombi, Watch Dogs, they are all proud to have included achievements for their games but they forget the essentials and botch the work, you will tell me to use Steam Grids, but it's not a permanent solution, it uses cache memory and above all it doesn't work on the mobile application

Steam is not an arbitrator of PC gaming standards.

well, Valve should always impose compliance rules

personally a game without illustrations is a reason for a refund

Compliance rules lead to stupid things like rimworld having achievements on console because they were required to.

Did you even read what I said? Valve is not, and should never be, the arbitrator of standards in PC gaming.
You do realize that you can add your own right? As games, age, developers may remove such things as it cuts down on bandwidth.

Do you think each and every one of the games in my library has artwork? No.

A refund? LOL

Do me a favor. Look up steam grids on Google.

I find it regrettable that you defend this when I am convinced that it is not a question of bandwidth but just laziness, the majority of developers and publishers are making the effort to adapt, this was updated for example for the original Metro 2033 and Last Light (not Redux) why not Ubisoft? we're talking about games that aren't even 10 years old, these aren't games that are 20 years old

Ok how about this. Define, by your standards, what 'laziness' is when applied to game development.

Laziness? You have the tools to add your own artwork to your games.

Do it. Because the developers aren't going to add it if it is not already there.

It amazes me how some people on this forum would rather sit here and complain than use Google for 5 seconds and find exactly what they need

You have 191 games. You could find artwork for every single one of those games and have it done probably in less than a weekend.

I have nearly 6,000 games. Ask me what a daunting task that would be.
Ubisoft doesn't care about you and you accept it, heartbreaking

My complaint also comes from the current context where Ubisoft has made efforts to include Steam achievements on their games, that's good, but why not go to the end of things and take the opportunity to correct the illustrations? It takes much less time than including successes

i wouldnt expect anything but hate from ubisoft, they hate gamers, but with that said, ubisoft isnt really a company anymore, they split up and sold off their better ip's to tencent, after several bad games and 100's of millions in lost money, including its recent that simply sent them over the edge.

heck, they would rather take away your games you paid for, then do anything resembling caring for their customers.

None of these companies care about me. You don't know that?

You can correct them yourself. I have folders full of custom artwork for my library.
as I already said this is not a permanent solution, if I uninstall Steam I have to redo everything and the display will not be good on the mobile application
The artwork being broken has nothing to do with the developer. It has to do with Valve changing how the artwork is displayed. Blame them. This was years ago by the way.

The old size, is 460x215
The new size is completely different. 600x900

Then you backup the art folder.

You can't change the artwork on the mobile application anyway.
