Filter japanese games

My steam home page is getting cluttered with japanese rabbish. I hate japanese games. Can we have some filtering functionality in place, please?

You're actual issue which you are encountering is; You don't like to grind the anime on the steam store for actual good games ( actual good games is your opinion this time ) .
But you are actually thinking more deep which is unneccesary in this case, feminism doesn't have to do with Steam, do you think any feministic people actually invented Anime on Steam?

And i really hate counterstrike, so that game is now officially removed from steam too. in fact, i blame counterstrike for this mentality. Before counterstrike came out, i could CAMP the BFG spawn, fire ONE SHOT and kill FIVE GUYS with it! and then grab the rail gun and instagib some more!
After counterstrike? you save up for an awp, one shot one kill, OMG BAN HIM, AWP ♥♥♥♥♥, stop using the noob tube! omg he's on caspian border tower, ban him! omg he's using last-stand, ban him! deagles only! play like me or get banned!

I am asking for a way to filter them out (or filter any other games) because I will never ever buy one and I am really tired of the increasing number of jrpgs and I-am-6-years-old japanese style games that Steam seems to believe I am very interested on when I am not.

I'll say it again: No Steam, I am not interested in those games, do you fu**ing understand??????

If you don't like games with anime art, you can try finding the "Anime" tag code and putting a negative sign in front of the code in the URL.

I am sorry but the home page still stays the same. I'd like a way to completely filter them out and never see them again.

Well, you're not the only one who has to deal with seeing games they don't like on the homepage. I mean, how many years have various gritty military shooters and gritty urban shooters and zombie apocalypse first-person survival shooters and such dominated the PC game market? Heck, they're still big chunks the market.

OMG YES! A filter by company would be fantastic! That's something I can get behind as a suggestion. Excellent idea! Please make a post about that in this section of the forums so it has it's own thread. It's a fantastic idea.

I do not click on those games so I do not get any of that displayed on my home page. Once you click it just once, you get spammed forever. It shouldn't be that way. We should have to right to click on anything we want without the fear of later having something we clicked on and read about being added to our page. As consumers we should have the right to check out products without paying a spam price for it later. I feel this should be adjusted ASAP. We need safe clicking options & more customization options for our steam home page.
