"Follow" developers/publishers
I thought that adding a feature that would allow users to "follow" their favourite developers and publishers on steam would be useful as this could increase the amount of awareness of future titles from developers and publishers which sell their games on steam.
You can already see a list of other titles from the same developer or publisher, so I figured this would be an easier way of helping to spread awareness of some titles on steam that may go un-noticed by some players.

Something similar to the curator feature on steam would be what i'm thinking of.

I would love to be able to follow some great devs/publishers. I definitely vote for this.

I also had the same idea for the same reasons, sounds great.

This kinda seems like a win-win for everyone to be honest. The user gets to choose who they follow. Publishers gain extra exposure to their games, maybe even smaller titles that slip through the cracks. It would be a cool little feature.

Very true. Every one of us probably has a list of developers to observe and while we can use fb or other media to do it, adding such feature to Steam would make it so much easier.

It could be nice to have option to "subscribe" to publisher/developer in same manner as you "subscribe" to games on wishlist.
i.e. to get only basic info related to their titles:
- sale notifications if any of publisher/developer title go on sale
- notifications for new releases.
and have a manageable list of publishers/developers you subscribed to (looking like wishlist) with some clickable indications of sales and new releases.
I know that you can follow publisher group (or subscribe to site) but it have many other not really required info that you end up totally skipping important announcements. (well, everyone knows that groups notifications or piling up emails are a kind of thing that many ppl prefer to ignore).

Wondering why this hasn't happened yet. It seems like a no-brainer. Publishers don't have profiles like gamers. All we have is a search result page. e.g. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?publisher=Adult%20Swim%20Games

Come on Valve. Please, add this.
