Can Devotion come back to Steam?
There isn't a Devotion forum, so I'll just use this one until I find a more appropriate one. I'm moving away from GOG because of reasons familiar to most reading this, which would simply put them at the same level as Steam if it weren't for the fact that GOG treated us like idiots by coming up with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse.

Devotion was on Steam, but from reading up on it, I got the impression that it wasn't necessarily Valve who pushed them out, but the developer/publisher themselves pulled out.

My question is, is there a possibility of Devotion coming back to Steam?

I'd just like to know because it will determine things like whether I spend my money on Steam this holiday sale, or just go to a third party key reseller like Voidu or Humble Bundle.

It's funny that I'm not doing this because of the Cyberpunk 2077 complaints everyone else is crowing about but because of a side of news that's already getting swept under the rug.

Their forum is still there.

This again?

Red Candle Games wrote in a post published to Facebook and Steam today: “Due to technical issues that cause unexpected crashes and among other reasons, we are pulling Devotion off from Steam store to have another complete QA check.”

It also stated that it would take the time to review the game for any other controversial material, in light of Chinese users’ outrage. “Our team would also review our game material once again making sure no other unintended materials was inserted in. Hopefully this would help all audience to focus on the game itself again upon its return.”

Talk to the game devs in their own game hub.

contact Red Candle Games about this question. valve nor steam is going to answer your question about someone else's IP.

use Red Candle Games, contact form through their website and ask them your questions.

I mostly just wanted to confirm that this was entirely Red Canle Games' decision and that it wasn't Valve's.

Thanks, I tried to search for it and couldn't find it, my mistake. Now I have.

ask Red Candle Games about it.. it is their game, naturally they would know what the reason is.
and they are the ones most suited to tell you whether or not it would then be planned to make a return, right?
contact them, instead of trying to subliminally take political shots at gog for this.

Errm, I just did.

The only political shots I know off are those taken against Devotion and at GOG's user's intelligence by claiming they were listening to the players when they took the game down. If you don't want me to keep replying onto this thread, you sure are helping otherwise by replying with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I have to then strike down.

By the way, capitalization, learn it bud.

the OP not only posted a copy paste of this thread starter here, but in the devotion forum and the cyberpunk forum but luckily it got deleted from the cyberpunk forum, why does the OP feel the need to spam that everywhere...

edit: as well that "backpack" user seems to be spamming that video and nonsense in cyberpunk and here in steam discussions..

There's a group of them doing this all over the net now that GoG released their statement a couple days ago.
