Add polls to Forums

Could add Polls to forum topics, maybe have 5 poll options and people can vote on whatever they like. For example,

Who likes this Poll Idea?

~Yes 1010003340 people like this
~No 1 person dislikes this

Maybe have a level-based feature? So you must be level 15 to use it

This feature used to be on the forums. It was removed for a reason. The forums are for discussions not popularity contests.

Obviously it will be moderated exactly for that. Ban people who misuse it. It was removed because of abuse, and the moderators here are capable of scaring people into not using it for abuse. In Off topic, for example, you can put: Who likes this? Yes/No, but topics with Who laikes me yes/no/WhorU? will get deleted. Plus, making it Level Based makes people buy more cards, makes people buy more games and makes less immature people to abuse it.

It's more trouble than it's worth and it didn't result in accurate polling.

The Steam level doesn't correlate with maturity, but only with the amount you have spent. This would be a useless security cap of you wish to avoid immaturity.

Polls won't be added; they don't want them. The old forums had poll functionality but they disabled it. So I highly doubt they would ever add them here.

The part where we don't have polls. As i said in my post. So here i am adding my voice to Crusaders01's. If you feel so strongly that steam shouldn't have polls maybe you should start your own thread about it instead of commenting on this one?

Valve already said they don't want them, this is their platform. What you want is irrelevant.

This is VALVE'S platform. They are not gonna add something they EXPLICITLY DON'T WANT just because a few thousand people signed a change.org petition or something.

But they will if A lot of people publicly voice their opinion. But if you think that insulting me will help you then that only means that there is a chance they will and you oppose it. Ya know I've never understood what people like you get out of trying to put the people down. I mean if polls do get added it's not like it's going to negatively affect you. So wheres the hostility really coming from? Hmm?
