If you're not going to make one, then how about you add a section to our account so that we can indicate which phone we have so that you can stop showing that "Use the mobile authenticator" screen when I launch Steam? Believe me, I would use it if I could, but you don't make it for my mobile platform of choice so, maybe stop pointing that out by telling me to get the app? I'm not switching mobile platforms anytime soon (sometimes it's not an easy thing to do, ya know?) Or, maybe do like Blizzard and EA (KOTOR) did and sell the keychain versions of their authenticators as well as offering smartphone versions?
For now you can use an Android emulator
agreed
Is not a case of market share, but security. They want us to have a secured account? Then release the authenticator app for all plataforms.
Again, agreed. It's only logical to release on all platforms regardless of popularity of diverse brands.
