Option to Hide Achievements
So I've googled it and poked around in the options a few times, but as far as I can tell there's no way to hide achievement pop-ups. This is a bit frustrating for me, as I generally find that achievements cheapen my successes, break my immersion, and discourage me from exploring the game on my own terms. I'd love it if I could hide them altogether, but I'd be grateful if there was at least an option to prevent in-game pop-ups.

Disabling Achievements in steam can be done by disabling the STeam Overlay for the game. In game however you have to poke around the ini files.

An option is to simply disable the Steam overlay in the in-game settings but that will also deter you from quickly chatting with your steam mates through steam.
