They only added them to get people to stop asking for them, and only gave the barest minimum of effort in implementing them.
And given how easy it is to cheat achievements on Steam, there's little hope that they will do much with them in the future.
I definitely understand what you mean, but I think there are enough people who would like to have a better achievement system.And especially if so many people wanted it, why did Steam just use a basic system instead of putting in the effort.
and I think that Steam should also respond to the community's wishes, especially that it wouldn't be a big update.
Steam would do this in no time,and cheating on achievements is stupid, but I think firstly there has to be a solution so that the achievements are no longer possible with cheats.
But we hope that Steam takes this to heart and really sits down and thinks about creating a good achievements system.
