Bypass blocks? Are you serious?
GabeN doesn't want to add a subscription to Steam, at this time.
GabeN would work with MS to bring Gamepass to Steam or any other dev/pub that wants to add a subscription to Steam, if they want to.

This could just slow the whole ticket system down for everybody else, I can already imagine how terrifying it'd be for people trying to go through account recovery only to have to wait even longer because someone paid to have their tickets looked at first.
Much like the idea above, I don't see this being useful and instead feel it would do more harm than good. The paid mods already take a long time with their current report Queue, so it once again slows everything else down for everyone else and essentially makes the reporting system worse as a result. There could be so many valid reports from non-subscribed members that'd potentially never get looked at as reports from the "subscribed" members keep coming in.
While I would love larger file sizes, why should this be behind a subscription service..? It'd be better for the community over all if everyone had access to it by default. I don't expect that to happen though, artwork can take up a good amount of space especially with larger sizes.
Not really worth it when you can already make private groups that you can have full control over.
I like free things, but a subscription service essentially makes the game no longer free at that point especially depending on the price. For example, say the subscription service is like.. $9.99
That means your one "free" game per year essentially costs $119.88
Technically you ARE paying for something so if this were implemented I could actually see this being viable but I'd still get more points just by buying games like I normally do..
Now as for the two "powerful" features...
We already have that. You can respond/appeal to the ban message already and a lot of forum bans get lifted already by steam support as is.
If I choose to block someone, they should not be allowed to bypass that block because they paid for a ability to do so. Thats just... honestly a really, really terrible idea.
NO.
You don't get to buy your way out of bans.
Hell no.
Just as you have freedom to where you choose to post within Steam/Dev's ToS, users have the freedom to associate with who they want. Steam isn't going to give you the ability to bypass blocks to harass folk.
and the "bypass user blocking" is never going to happen lol.
have a nice day
I would gladly pay for them to investigate my steam ban abuse.
