Subfolders/sub-categories have been asked for since folders/categories have been a thing on Steam. And still nothing, so don't count on them.
For those of us who use small mode only, tags are rather useless. Sub-categories would be far more useful.
I do currently duplicate much like the above but I might stop; makes for an unwieldy large library, and progressively worse the more pedantically organized it gets. Sure, I'm onboard with then just being less pedantic as a possible solution, but if we can via tags have our cake and eat it too...
I don't see the tags being useful in small mode where everything would more then likely be on the screen at once.
Right now I actually lost count to the number of categories I have, that number would be brought down quite a bit if I could use sub categories and have more then one sub in each one.
In the end, having both but not requiring people to use one or the other would be the best option. I just want to use small mode with sub-categories.
