The Recent Diablo 4 Free To Play Days

So for those not aware, Diablo 4 on Steam recently had several days during which the game could be played for free. Personally, while interested, I didn't get to it because of being busy with other things. But I'm somewhat interested in playing today.

So I just want to suggest for Steam's consideration that instead of making games free to play on particular days... during the Diablo 4 sale (and allowing unlimited play as long as it takes place on those particular days), they should consider giving each player a certain # of hours of free Diablo 4 gameplay on any days of the players' choice during the Diablo 4 sale event.

The game developer/publisher can offer a free trial while their game is on sale. This is not up to Valve to offer.

Activision does this quite often with their current Call of Duty game every 2 months for 8 months after release. They have a sale and a free trial weekend.
