valve arent going to allow for an option that circumvents the entire purpose of why theyre' doing it in the first place
There already is that option, but you will have to change the setting on each game in your library.
Any game that I play often (especially ones that I play with friends) I have set to High Priority. I have never seen the updates for those games stuck in a queue with a scheduled download date. They always download immediately.
Right click on the game's name in your Steam Library. Select Properties. Select UPDATES. Change AUTOMATIC UPDATES to:
But other things could turn on like no background downloads when in a game. I use schedule set it for when i sleep stop round time i plan to wake. But either way is good as the other. The guy above directions will help you. i just thought i'd give heads up on it, it will trigger anytime an update is ready for any game set to high priority. When you got 256 games like me installed can happen very very often lol.
