make everything available in Points-shop

I would love to see everything available in the poinst shop.

Now you have to own the game and in certain instances you even have to have played the game for a certain amount of time before you can buy the stuff.

I would LOOOOOOOOVE to see everything is just available to buy with my points.
There is no reason at all for us, the comsumers to do this.

The only reason for steam seems is to stimulate buying games......
But obviously I won't buying games just because I like a background ;)

I didn't realize the DEV's are the ones making and providing them.

Makes a bit more sense now.
Still love to see it open up, but can understand the"extra that comes with the game" very much.

I think only still background and emotes that demand you to also buy their game.

Yeah I have a few too, and no idea how I got them since I never bought them or own the game.
But the ones I want are locked....
Just a little unconvenience for me it seems.

At least I got a bit more understanding where it comes from now thanks to your answer. :D

Can't say if it is good or not.

Personally and egocentric me would say: nope, not good. I want my stuff.

Adult me with your answer in his backpocket says: yeah it is good enough. To bad for me, but I completely understand the why.
