Ashame more devs don't give users this open in the game options menu.
I do not think anything can remove achievements unlocked through steam servers. Could be wrong about this, though.
For instance, "Oxygen Not Included" has local achievements tied to savegames, but they also pop Steam achievements when earned for the first time.
I do believe OP wants the ability to remove Steam achievements from their account.
Achievements are done by the game developers as a part of "their" game. This includes how they are being triggered. Valve isn't going to mess with and possibly breaking the triggers for the achievements for games they do not make.
Exactly. I really enjoy working for steam achievements, and was bummed when some cheater just force unlocked half of them for me. I just want to be able to re-lock so I can earn them myself.

I get you. A possible workaround could be re-installing the game when you reset them, allowing the game to possibly reset its records that you completed a specific achievement.
Anyway, just wanted to bring this up since I am sure there is some way it could be implemented.
