Achievement Resets

Add a "Reset Achievement's" button under the Steam Achievement section. This way, users could reset their steam achievement's manually. Being able to reset your achievement's manually would be helpful for a multitude of reasons.
1) If a user wants to re-lock their achievement's to earn them again. Better replay value.
2) Running into a hacker online who force unlocks achievements against your will (My case, happened to me on black ops 3, and I cannot reset my achievements even through steam support. I wanted to be able to earn these on my own.)
Really not sure why this cannot be done, even through steam support. I think this could be a helpful feature for many if added. It does even have to be a user feature, at least steam support should be able to reset these for you.

I would not touch anything in a CoD game. They ban for EVERYTHING, if it is not built into the game. Like adjusting the FOV beyond what the game lets you can warrant a ban.

I can back this up as in factorio the devs added such a feature. I really enjoyed the fact they added it but I don't think I will actually ever personally use it.

Ashame more devs don't give users this open in the game options menu.

Can it remove achievements from your profile or just reset the game's locally cached achievements?

I do not think anything can remove achievements unlocked through steam servers. Could be wrong about this, though.

Some games do have a local set of achievements for which their Steam versions transmit to Steam.

For instance, "Oxygen Not Included" has local achievements tied to savegames, but they also pop Steam achievements when earned for the first time.

I do believe OP wants the ability to remove Steam achievements from their account.

Achievements are done by the game developers as a part of "their" game. This includes how they are being triggered. Valve isn't going to mess with and possibly breaking the triggers for the achievements for games they do not make.

Exactly. I really enjoy working for steam achievements, and was bummed when some cheater just force unlocked half of them for me. I just want to be able to re-lock so I can earn them myself.

I guess what Hotsauce is trying to say is that if you were able to reset server-side you'd have to clear your local game saves as they might indicate you already have the achievement and tell the game not to unlock it via Steamworks.

I get you. A possible workaround could be re-installing the game when you reset them, allowing the game to possibly reset its records that you completed a specific achievement.

Anyway, just wanted to bring this up since I am sure there is some way it could be implemented.
