Update Patch Notes????

Why is it that I have to search for patch notes when updating games on steam???

It seems like every time I boot up steam there's a new update.

It would be so nice to simply right click the game I'm updating and view patch notes instead of having to scour the web.

There is a way to easily check it. If there are patch notes available, there will be "patch notes" button on update itself.

yup as above if the dev wants to include patch notes they can and then youll see a patch notes button next to the update

I've literally never seen this....

Is it hidden or something or am I just playing games that don't utilize this feature?

its only enabled if the dev enables and uses the feature. Some of my games use it. a lot do not.

Some of these darn devs don't even have patch notes on their website so I guess that's the problem.
