Mark games as owned

Steam should add a button to mark a game as owned in another platform, this could be used so I could see all my games in one laucher, and also when trying to find something to play with a firend, to include games that we dont own on steam in that filtered list.

This has been asked for before and it's understandable - what you're basically after is not quite the same as the ignore function. You'd also want the suggestion algorithm to not pick up on anything marked as owned on another platform - don't want it filtering out game genres that you actually play.

Ah, did not know that was there. Shows how long it's been since I bought something here. I blame Game Pass.

it does not work as i would espect, because when i check the games that i can play with my friends, the games that i own in another platform dont appear in my collection

You want them in your library? Just add them as a non-Steam game.

Your friends wouldn't see it anyway. Steams game list on the profile only shows games owned on Steam, as it should be. It's a Steam account, after all.

Add as a non steam game and then click ignore owned on another platform

You do not own games, only bought licenses. It is simple as that.

No offense but you didn't read the thread. They want games marked as "owned" so that when they search for games, they can filter all owned games out of search...
