Make changes to Steam Direct

I think that Steam Direct can be better than what it is now. How about putting in more safeguards, such as: background checks beyond the bare minimum looking into a company's financial, and criminal record, at least to a point. Lastly, turn up the entry fee from $100.00 to about $250.00-$400.00
This is Steam, not Google Play store nor even Itch.io, folks.

Because the flood of asset flips needs to be stood up to. Also, the $100.00 entry fee is too easy to get past.
