Customisable gift card
Hi, Could you please have Canadian retailers carry the customisable Steam gift card? I only see the 20$ and 50$ cards at some of the locations. Thank you.

Edit on 2024/11/13:

This suggestion is intended for Steam staff to read if they want to.

Some players want to use a physical gift card to use cash to buy hardware and software available on Steam.
It is a suggestion for staff to ask retailers ( 7-Eleven Canad, Petro Canada, Shell and Circle K specifically ) to find out if they want to get the optional steam gift card that is customisable.
I've seen a customisable steam gift card at retailers like Best Buy and Walmart but I don't want to need to travel 60 miles just to save on cardboard.

I would rather get a single gift card compared to 3 to pay for yearly subscriptions. Thank you.

Canadian Retailers:
7-Eleven Canada
Best Buy
Circle K
Couche-Tard
EB Games
Jean Coutu
Walmart
Petro Canada
Shell

Retailers themselves determine what they will and will not carry. Valve cannot force retailers to carry a product that they do not want, nor one that doesn't exist in the first place.
My suggestion is for Valve staff to ask retailers if they could carry the customisable one ($20 to $200) which I've seen somewhere before made by fastcard.
Retailers can choose whether or not to supply variable rate loaded gift cards or not.

use the website version of the client with Augmented Steam plugin then you can add any amount over the minimum as steam wallet.

Retailers supply what they want. No amount of encouragement will sway them to get something they do not want.

I agree and I know it's their choice what to carry.

Other products at the same retailers have customisable giftcards made by fastcard as well.

Ask the retailer themselves why.

Even Coinstar in Canada has Steam wallet codes $5-$250.
