Share game collections with friends

I have curated a substantial collection of games that I enjoy and often recommend to my friends. Similarly, my friends have their own collections that they have shared with me. However, we've noticed that there isn't a straightforward way to share these collections with each other on Steam.

I propose the introduction of a "Share Collection" feature. This would allow users to share their game collections with friends directly through Steam. It would not only make it easier for us to share our favorite games, but also to discover new ones from our friends' collections.

This feature could work similarly to sharing a wishlist, but instead, we would be able to share a whole collection that we've personally curated. It would be even better if we could include a short description or review for each game in our collection.

I believe that this feature would foster a greater sense of community among Steam users and encourage more social interactions around gaming. It would also provide users with more personalized game recommendations from people they trust.

Just for clarification I’m assuming you mean a visible list of games and not actually letting people play games from your library.

yeah that's what I mean, like say you make a collection called fav games and you can share that collection with your friend for them to see it, so then if they like the games you play they could check them out and purchase them if they like the game
