I suggest you ask Nvidia to offer their software thru steam if you want forums on steam and you can link us to the thread you make so we can see what their response is.
They choose not. It's not steam's place to create it for them when they themselves choose not to.
Unless you're trying to imply, people use and subscribe to GFN, to play on Playstation. Of course GFNs selling point, is mainly Steam (others as well, but Steam mainly) and access too it from different devices.
If they wanted you to use steam forums they would tell you.
Can you provide an example of where a moderator on the Geforce Now forums is sending someone to steam for a Geforce Now issue like you claimed?
I had an issue with a controller once. And first they told me to disable the controller in my steam settings, but it didn't carry over, and at that point told me it was likely a Steam issue.
And so i think what the OP is saying, is like we have Hardware and OS Forums here, there should also be forums for other outlets, as well. Makes sense.
So in other words it had absolutely nothing to do with GFN. That is what I thought.
Thank you for finally confirming that Rangers, the same issue would occur if you had run the game from Steam, the issue had nothing to do with GFN, so even if they had a forum that wouldn't have belonged there.
In fact, what we found out, is it had nothing to do with Steam, or Ge Force Now really, but simply adjusting the bit rate function on the GFN app, and not having anything running in the background.
The whole point being is you asked the question, and i gave you the answer, in that there are times Ge Force punts it to Steam.
And when i posed the question to Steam Support, the answer i got to that controller question was, "We have reviewed this matter, and have found your ban implemented properly", shows me, Steam has no support, nonesoever.
At least not adequate support.
And that's why, there should be a peer to peer subforum for these apps, as they are for Hardware. Gotta go Mr 9824. Have fun.
Proves the point quite well why having a Steam run forum for it makes no sense since Steam can't deal with it and Nvidia actively wants you posting on THEIR forums, and they don't send you to steam like the OP falsely claimed.
Yes, they punt it to steam if it has nothing to do with GFN as you admitted
So having a steam forum for GFN would be useless as they don't punt you to steam for anything related to GFN. So if you made an off topic post on steam they'd tell you to go to GFN servers, if you made an off topic post on GFN they tell you to go to steam.
Or as I call it, common sense in that you should post in the correct forum
