option to hide the hidden posts from blocked users

we've all encountered users who are irrational, don't read your post, have nothing better to do than try and strawman or gaslight or harass or insult or...
the only tool we have is to block, since the report feature is a waste to all except those who commit report abuse.
and we know there's nothing to gain from clicking "show" on a blocked users post.

i don't even want to see "blocked user - show", so give us an option to hide the hidden messages completely.

Doesn't really make any sense because of the logistical issues of displaying the forum with missing posts. Its not like it takes any effort whatsoever to skip past the blocked user - show so it adds absolutely nothing of value.

Extra work that accomplishes nothing is not logical nor is it a good use of resources.

I'm curious why OP is so adament to not interact with other individuals and are severely projecting. After all, it has already been established that OP is part of the people doing the report abuse.

Wouldn't it be easier to just stop using the forums if they're such a heavy toll on your life, Psymon?

There was a post that essentially said everyone that is blocked and responds is just a troll only wanting to harass or derail.

Agreed, hopefully they do stricter moderation so this happens less often. That overhaul is sorely needed

Rather they focus on a more streamlined systems for dealing with alts then add useless options because people can't control themselves from clicking to show a post. if they added it they'd just view it not logged in or unhide it anyways.

good suggestion. for now you can use these ublock origin filters. the first one hides the topics and the 2nd one hides the comments (credits to metamec)

! Delete blocked user posts on forum index pages

! Delete blocked user posts from thread pages
steamcommunity.com##div:has(> span.commentthread_deleted_comment_audit)

click the extension icon > click the gears icon > go to "my filters" then paste the above in there
