Get rid of illegat account trading and bot accounts. Please!
I can't for the life of me understand why Steam doesn’t permanently ban players who break the rules and then just leave their accounts hanging. Why are you keeping these accounts around? Your punishments are so lenient and delayed that by the time they come through, some players have already created new accounts or just gotten away with it.

Not only are you encouraging toxic and immoral behavior with this approach, but it also seems like you don’t even bother with basic moderation for avatars, usernames, and other content. I mean, where else can you see a swastika or explicit content as avatars and let children see it? It’s ridiculous!

It’s so simple—if someone breaks the rules and uses malicious software on Valve’s servers, just delete their account. This would cut down on cheaters and make them think twice before cheating. Right now, a prime CS account costs about 3 euros and cheaters buy this accounts from cheat developers for around 12 euros and get both the game and cheats for months. And when you ban them, they just return the account to the cheat developer and get a new one. It’s laughable how wide open you leave these gaps.

People are making money off your games and even building businesses with online casinos worth billions, while you’re left with the crumbs. It’s a shame. This platform used to be the gold standard, but it’s all falling apart because people want a good experience and sooner or later, they’re going to say, "Enough is enough."

As a Steam subscriber you agree to abide by the following conduct rules. In general, as a Steam user you should be a good online citizen and not do anything that prevents any other Steam user from using and enjoying Steam.

More specifically, you shall not do, or attempt to do, any of the following on Steam:

Violate others’ personal rights
Examples of such prohibited behavior include: doxing; scamming; stealing; impersonating; stalking; accessing other users’ Steam accounts; and posting libelous or defamatory statements

Calling people scammers falls under that....

You play "圣女战旗 Banner of the Maid" ???????? ? This explain everything :):goldenkey1:
I actually haven't played it yet. It tried launching it to test something on my Steam Deck because it was having issues.

Don't know what playing that means considering it's just being used as a way to avoid admitting you would have your account deleted by Steam based on your own rules.

I'd also warn you that using your Steam log-in information to log into any of those sites (including the one in your name history) is an excellent way of getting the account hijacked. If while hijacked, the account is used to cheat or break other rules, the ban is still valid and it will still be permanent.

It's funny how you're smart enough to post on a forum but so clueless at the same time. SkinMonkey isn’t a gambling site; it’s a trading platform for skins, in case you didn’t know. Yes, there’s a difference. This site is a marketplace where players like me, who have skins but are afraid of getting scammed (see the topic above, genius), use to trade safely. Because I’m wary of being scammed, I use this platform to exchange my skins securely with other players. So, either you're trolling or you’re just really uninformed.

Nope it is a known skin gambling site despite it claiming to be a skin trading site, because the gamble is you will not be scammed and your inventory emptied

You have to log in with all your account details including the Steam Guard Mobile code which they capture and now have access to your account.

They sit and wait, then scam you and empty your inventory and your next thread will be "help my inventory is gone, how did Steam Guard Mobile get bypassed."!

Trading skins with other players does not violate Steam's rules. No one using the site is buying or selling on SkinMonkey; they are just exchanging with other players.

But on the site you can buy and sell skins so backup your claim that no one is doing that.

The irony is when you click the "trade skins now "button it list all items with a price.

Trading items doesn't bother anyone except the scammers who keep posting with fake profiles. It's got nothing to do with the topic at hand. And the topic, if you can read, is - Delete all banned accounts - Let's have some justice. All trade bans, VAC bans, etc. - Wipe them out. Anyone with a brain knows why and what happens when someone gets their account banned in a game. The user sells the account to recoup some money, and because there might be other games, badges, etc. on it. Then that account gets sold for 3-4 euros to be used for various shady purposes - theft, scams in games, or whatever seedy services they're offering. Stop threatening me with ToS because I'm reporting you for threats. Enjoy playing on your Steam Deck - IT'S FOR KIDS.

If a user gets VAC banned, it locks the items associated with that game so they can't really sell anything. Also, a VAC ban isn't grounds for account termination considering it's only for that specific game.

There's only one person here acting like a kid.

Oh, and a self-labeled bot account.

That's definitely a ToS violation.

Purchases.

And then you get your account stolen, used to cheat and deleted.
You're too smart to fall for an account theft? Same though everybody else who lost theirs.

Cheaters will keep using burner accounts. For them it makes no difference getting the account VAC banned or deleted.

For everyone else it matters though.

I think you're overestimating the money those sites do.

What purcases ? Prime on game wich the acount is permabanned ot it ? or what ?

Just DELETE THE ACCOUNT
You thankfully don't have any say in that. With some common sense it is obvious why the accounts simply aren't deleted.

No, they're using a partner site linked in said site. "We don't do that BUT... if you go the back alley and ask for Tim... Tell him we sent you"

We're trying to tell you how easy you can end up on that list without doing anything wrong. And how irrelevant that system would be for cheaters.

Beware what you wish

Of course, it’s so that some kids, instead of studying and learning, can log in from their laptops and buy accounts with their pocket money to play with cheats, acting like they’re all that while ruining my gaming time after work or someone else’s. I don’t get what kind of people you are spreading this disease. How can you not be ashamed of profiting from the misery and degradation of the gaming community? Remember, this industry will soon be gone, just like we reminisced about computer clubs and LAN parties, this too will die. With the dumbing down of this branch, many people will just say screw it and find another hobby. It’s pathetic. By the way, it’s no coincidence that the biggest cheat distributor is in Russia. The poorer they are, the more ready they are to steal anything, even from their own mothers. Sparky gave them a few grand, and they even showed their faces. Know that nothing goes unpunished. Remember that, and happy cheating until your next account. You should know that ranks and points in prime mode actually mean something. Ha ha
So ironic that you have problems with people cheating yet see no issue with scam sites. ALL of them can scam you. It's going to take your account getting hijacked and then banned before you actually realize why we're telling you what we're telling you. However, by that time it'll be too late.
