Add mobile games to the android steam app
Allow for developers to put their Android apk's on Steam and for you to be able to download them on the android Steam mobile app. Developers of Games with an Android and a PC version should be able to have both in a single store page.

I think this is a good idea but I feel like if they were to do it, it shouldn't be in the existing Steam app, but rather it's own separate mobile store app. This app could serve as both a Store and launcher that runs in the background and allows for earning Steam Achievements in said mobile games.
Also if they wanted to, on the more powerful phones they could implement support for PC games locally via Box86 and Proton functionality, something that is already possible unofficially with apps like Winlator, though in this case it would be much much cleaner.

They will have to remove the Steam app from the Google Play store for that to happen. in doing so, that will also come along with a lot of other issues that Google purposely puts in place to discourage having competitor stores on Android.

Give a good reason for Google and Apple to allow a competitor to set up shop in their store.
Also, Steam sells PC games not mobile games.
While some of the games have mobile versions those are versions made for mobiles, while Steam has the PC versions.

Are you suggesting that they implement a mobile games store? Perhaps a bundle where you get both the PC and Android version?

If not, this is basically a "give me a free version of the game on my phone/tablet" begging thread. Why would developers/publishers want that? Or Valve?

Yes, I am saying that they should implement a mobile games store, isn't that what I said?

well with all the different brands of mobile, all of them already have a store on them. so it will be counter productive for any other company to do on said mobile devices. unless they themselves create their own mobile device OS with their own mobile store

now i know some games are on mobile and on pc. but of course game developers want to make money. so keep in mind developers most likely will want you to buy licence for the android version and a licence for pc version. some developers are like that with pc operating system ie windows, Apple Mac and Linux.

No, wasn't clear. Could be both from your OP, so thanks for clarifying.

Ultimately, it all depends on the gaming companies, game developers and game publishers

none of us here can decide for them
