cheaper way to get steam points

posted this in the wrong section before, but i want a profile background but that costs 2000 steam points which is 20$. i only want the points, not the game or anything that i have to buy to get it!

I don't. This post is a suggestion. There should be a way to buy steam points on its own which would be cheaper and the points we get from buying games should just be a bonus, it's just a suggestion.

You are getting the points for FREE when you buy games... why would you want to waste money to buy points that people are also giving away when they give people awards?

Either buy games, or wait for people to give you awards. I doubt the items in the points shop are going away so just wait and build them up like everyone else does over time.

Create community contrent that is deemed worthy of award by the community and yoiu can get opoints.

Why do they need to be cheaper? Just contribute and you will earn points if your contributions are worthwhile

The points have no monetary value to begin with.

They will not be made cheaper as they are a free extra you received as a thank you for buying something.

I didn't delete the post myself, went to check the comments and saw the post was already deleted, so i guess a mod or someone must have deleted it. And yes I did read the comment for the dude willing to give point, and I did respond to them. Before they could respond back the post was deleted. Anyway it sucks but wcyd. This post is a suggestion.

Do what I do. I create threads that are thought provoking and remarkably engaging, you get naturally rewarded with Steam points for doing that, that was the whole point of Steam Points to begin with!
