Stop sending dragged text as a friends message instantly

I use highlighted text to help focus on reading messages, but often when I'm chatting to friends, letting go of the highligher and intending to highlight a different part of the chat, I'm instead sending them snippets of the chat we're having.

I'm not sure why this needs to exist at all. Are gamers today unable to copy and paste text and need to be able to drag and drop from a tablet or something? Just make it just show up as a message that's ready to be sent, but let me press enter to send it.

Finally, a reasonable suggestion. I knew the Steam Community could manage it eventually.

Oh yea, good call. Did that a few times by mistake aswell. My wife wants to show me something, sends a link, I slip while wanting to click the link, drag it into the message bar and automatically send it back. Always feels dumb haha
