Wildvine is not used at all by any game distributor I am aware of.

Steam games aren't a video, so that would have nothing to do with downloading games. It's also nothing to do with Chrome as they aren't putting the DRM on titles. Ironically you just provided another example of the developer being able to optionally put DRM on content.

Chrome itself isn't DRM just because it provides features to work with content that has DRM, and none of the DRM features it has have anything to do with Steam and how it operates.

And that is pretty much a plug-in that the web browser just passes through encrypted content to, and the browser doesn't even understand the DRM?
