New Friends List Sidebar

There is one single feature that i would like to see on steam for many years. I would like to use the friends list as a sidebar/panel if i open the desktop steam app. I don't want to manage two different tabs. If i could see the store page, library, workshop etc. while having the friends list in the same window as a sidebar, that would be awesome. What do we think everyone?

People have requested that for years. It's doesn't seem to be a priority to have it dock to the main window or even integrated into the main window.

That's a bummer... I was quite sure i am not the only one but still. Judgeing by how other apps and websites have this feature already, it does not seem impossible. :/
