Also a lot of kids use the deck, having a camera on its back, pointing down at their (or even an adults) lap doesn't sound like a great idea...
The deck doesn't need to be an everything item like some people want to make it.
"do people not have phones"... some blizzard employee yells from around the corner.
That's behind us now though, and most likely you already have a high-quality camera in your pocket at all time.
Steam needs to go more stream line with steam deck, make it more like a tablet less dodgy joycons then. Weight n size of steam deck is it's downfalls, it's only a 7 inch screen but a 11 inch wide device?
As far as I know, no model of the Steam Deck has a camera
