Steam Client Keyboard Shortcuts

Steam's only answer to my thread was locking it after it got a few answers recently because it was too old - never even addressing the topic, mind. So here it is, up again all new and improved.

I find it kind of baffling that there isn't a single keyboard shortcut to navigate the Steam client - especially being such an out-and-out PC-specific program. You can't even use the keyboard to navigate the options in contextual menus!

I find it even more baffling that it isn't a more discussed topic around these parts. Does no one care? Do people not use the keyboard to navigate PC programs anymore? Am I THAT old? What is it?

When was the last time you were aware that most people were using keyboards heavily for navigation?

Most people have a mouse and two hands, so that's often the preference for most users. I mean I use lots of keyboard commands in my software development. But I'm not kidding myself that everyone else does.

Although I am a bit surprised that you can't at least tab through menus and such. But to be fair I haven't in twenty years so I'm not really fussed by it.
