The wishlist needs another update, yes.
When Valve changed how they're displayed back in 2022, quite a few games that have been left to rot got changed to Coming Soon and this made things worse...

IMO, unreleased titles should be sorted based on declared release date and level of specificity
for example, [Jan 5th 2025] would be considered "sooner" than [Jan 2025] which is in turn sooner than [Q1 2025] and then [2025]. (Even though the vague ranges begin sooner, they can release later and still land within their target range)
All forms of Coming Soon/TBA/Etc would still be lumped together at the far end.
