This game is marked as 'Adult Only'. You are seeing this game because you have set your preferences to allow this content.
Please remove this box entirely. If not, add a "don't show this again" button. I don't like the implication that there is something dangerous with what is under our clothes, and need to be constantly warned and protected from a fictional game with... gasp... nudity. It feels very outdated. Like future generations will laugh at the fact that it was like this. It's distracting and censorial and bad store page UI. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure there are legal reasons why Steam has to have warnings like that.

There's no implication of something being dangerous at all, where are you even getting that from? The box is literally just what's on the tin so to speak. It's telling you the product is marked as Adult's Only, and that you are seeing it because of how you have your settings configured. Considering the number of threads we get every so often complaining about seeing AO games and wanting them removed from the store instead of... oh I don't know... changing their own settings, which FYI is set to hide adult content by default... just shows how much this little blurb is actually needed.

The coffee cup says "warning: coffee may be hot". The bathroom sink says "employees must wash hands". The paper shredder says "don't put your hand in the rotating blades". Every sign exists for a reason.

It's because it's required.

It exists for the people on the below average half of the intellect bell curve.

Lawsuits are why we need such warnings.

Considering the amount of people who are startled at adult only games being featured on their main page or discovery queues I see useful reminding users why such content is being displayed.

No employee ever comes to wash my hands, though :steamsad:
