Steam seems to be moving towards google play type games, and should stop.
micro-transaction games that are free to play but then show poor development or its just a gimmick to get customers to spend more money on in game purchases.

Steam needs a real quality check on the games it is offering us, free to play mobile app games don't really belong on steam and it is destroying steams quality.

Why?
population issues seem to be a big reason, they aren't often as noticeable within google play due to the over whelming mass of tablet devices. however on steam which often steam has its own selected cluster, i have noticed several games that are mobile move overs to steam.

they often have issues with match making. one of the issues i just seen had to deal with warhammer - warpforge which i speculate is a mobile game moved to steam. the issue had to deal with such a low population on the game that boting accounts broke the game play by continuing to exploit a resign bug.

In the past other games that are mobile based seem to work ok until you hit critical multiplayer needs when they fail extremely bad on steam.

the issues aren't extremely bad until you hit a dead population moment or low down time but it seems to break the game in more ways then one.

as steam customers we all just expect to have games with population in them on steam, these types of short falls on these mobile platform games gives steam a horrible impression and a bad taste in most of our mouths.

There is an ignore button for those who do not wish to play particular games.

I prefer games keep coming to steam, I'm responsible enough to make good purchasing decisions so if I don't like a game I look into then I simply move onto one I will. "Quality" is also subjective and it should be up to the consumer to decide what counts as a quality game for themselves. The consumer should NOT have to rely on steam to decide what is quality for them after all, the freedom of choice is lovely to have.

Customer? You proudly admit you never spend money on steam.

You can call yourself a user, but you’re not a customer, you’re a tolerated loiterer.

Freeloader playing free games now wants to complain that the F2P business model isnt "fair".

:sniperbrain::thumbspoop:

Also that line about "populated games" is utter bs. You also arent a customer by your own admission.
