Steam countdown timer for opening game

How many times have we accidentally clicked on the wrong game(or just misclick)? and when that game has opened or started it is difficult to close it immediately and some games come with several different platforms (such as Uplay, EA, Battle.net etc) so you have to turn off or close this in addition to the game..

Could Steam have a simple 3 or 5 second countdown timer to the game launching so you can cancel it before the wrong game starts? ideally, users could enable this feature in the settings and adjust the timer (how many seconds it takes for the game to actually open)

interesting idea, I'd welcome the option, as can always leave it at zero, maybe have it on a per-game basis, since some can be alt+f4 nice and quick.

and yes some games are easy to kill/close but others do open other platforms like Uplay which is just horrible...

Only if it's optional, and off by default. I don't need any more delay when I want to play a game, and generally when I want to play a game, I usually pay attention to the one that is showing up in my library when clicking that big green play button.
