Multiple/private wishlists

I have some friends where we buy each other games fairly often from that person's wishlist- it would be really nice to have the option of different wishlists, private and public.

For example, being able to have a wishlist just for upcoming games so I don't have to scroll through a dozen games I can't purchase would be good. Or a list of games you want to get a friend down tbe line so you can track sales without muddling your list with it.

It's time for Steam to get up with the times and allow something I've had on Amazon for years...
Last year we finally got account saved shopping cart, so I want to believe we'll get this someday.

I agree, this is something I've wanted for a while. Even just having three or four lists would probably be enough; only one wishlist is way too cumbersome. I resorted to keeping certain games bookmarked rather than wishlisted, but it's not ideal.
Even from Steam's perspective it makes sense: developers keep begging people to wishlist their games, it's clearly an important metric they keep track of, but with only one wishlist the instinct is to prune and be conservative.
