Adding Pronouns and Gender Flags to Steam Profiles
Dear Steam Support,

I am writing to request the addition of pronouns and gender flag options to Steam profiles.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I believe it is important for players to be able to express their gender identity and pronouns on their profiles. This would allow for a more inclusive and welcoming gaming environment for all players.

Many other online platforms, including social media and gaming services, have already implemented similar features, and I believe Steam should follow suit. This would be a positive step towards creating a more inclusive and respectful community.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

As long humans walked on this earth, this will never happen. The bible spelt out the facts and the ones in the opposite group didn't like it and called it bigotry.

As Christians, we all know that evil has many faces and try to get you to do opposite of God teachings.

In star wars terms, Jedi the light of force vs the dark side of the force. The dark side attempts to recruit to go against the light side. LGBTQ happened to be on the dark side of the force.

Now, do you understand why?
Ok so LGBTQ are just evil to you now? And your religion is the objectively correct one? Aight man. Personally I'm not a fan of cults. I've always believed in live a good life and if there's a god or gods and they're fair they' won't care if i worship them, they'll still welcome me because i'm a good person. if they still send me to hell or whatever bad afterlife despite being a good person, why would i want to worship them? Out of fear? I'm not scared of injustice I get pissed by it, and others should to
I agree, worshiping out of fear is never a good thing. Honestly if there is a god and they are malevolent and hate those who don't worship them what makes people think that worshiping out of fear will actually keep them safe? What makes them think that such a malevolent god is reasonable?
Don't give me that "God loves all" you can't say god loves all and forgives "those who have sinned" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, then say he hates LGBTQ people and will send people who don't worship him to hell, that's doublespeak and self-contradictory. Can't be both malevolent and also love all and forgive "those who have sinned".

It wouldn't hurt this community to be a bit more inclusive because as it stands looking at the rest of this thread this community seems to be one of the more uninclusive places, second only to those alt-right video sites and twitter clones (I guess the actual twitter too) considering the fact that people in this thread have said everything from trying to claim that LGBTQ people abuse children simply by existing up to saying that LGBTQ people should be put to death.
Since when is that even remotely inclusive, or even common decency for that matter?

I understand that you really hate LGBTQ people and the fact that they/we exist and stand up for ourselves. I also understand that you try to use religion to justify your hatred and also make it easier to spread it.

It's funny though because as we speak it is happening, gay acceptance is on the rise, trans acceptance is on the rise. Platforms are cracking down on Transphobia, homophobia, and bigotry as a whole. In many ways it already has, in many places being publicly a queerphobe is seen as bad as being publicly a Neonazi. People will avoid you and you'll be thrown out of bussinesses (police will be called if you refuse to leave after being asked to).

Pretty sure he's just using "religion" as an excuse to troll. I wouldn't take much of what he says seriously. Most Christians don't think like this at all. Just like most groups, it's another case of the vocal and extreme minority painting the rest in the worst light.

The bible literally explains all about it. There's nothing to troll for. By your argument supporting one group is a troll.

And most Christians would regarded your comments as anti-religion and extreme hatred of word of God.

This is strawman excuse. There is no hate. That's what woke group do that to invalidate the other side.

We reserve the right to disagree. It is not hate, big difference there.

Your partly correct. I expected that from someone who didn't read the bible carefully. God forgives those who try to not to repeat the same sin again. God understood that humans are not perfect but as long we try our best.

If one not willing to remove the sin by stop sinning, then what is good for forgiveness? Forgiveness requires change from within.

Okay, most of what I said is consistence with the bible. The distasteful group mentioned is incompatible with Christianity. You has to know that?

Why should I seek his forgiveness for being trans? I'm not harming anyone, I don't kill or steal.

You're telling me, with a straight face. That I'm going to hell for being trans, yet a murderer who asks for forgiveness from god is going to go to heaven. In that case, isn't there a very likely possible that hell has tons of good people in it. People who have helped thousands of other people, but because they don't believe in god they've been smited down to hell. And you think that's right?

I cannot speak for God. That's between you and God. That's the question for you to ask God.

So the entire message of Christ, accepting others, showing compassion, living as Christ did means nothing to you does it. You do realize that Christ surrounded himself with people the church at the time considered sinners, the most despised and looked down upon individuals by the religious community, consisting of tax collectors, prostitutes, hell even Paul, who was most famous for severely persecuting early Christians, correct?

James 4:12 “There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?”

A nice verse for people like you who weaponize religion to live by. Just saying.

But again, this is getting WILDLY off topic... again....

Yes, and he sacrificed on the cross so their sins would be forgiven.
