I there was an interesting idea presented about how to use bans and steam points to create a certain ecology. where you need to pay x steam points to post and bans wipe your forum post purchase. This uses a proof positive, rather than a proof negative, system to help promote a more considerate and healthy ecology on the steam forums.

Dota 2 Has A Behavior System Implemented This Year That Cut Down Toxicity By Like 90%

Modified version of Trust system that is still not ready for similar implementation for the forums.

The fact Dota even required a behavior system what-so-ever is nothing more then something they should of done years ago, Dota is not exactly the most welcoming of communities, as a matter of fact as far as I know its one of the most hostile and toxic ones on the face of this planet and its COMP side is more hostile and toxic then any other game as well.

The fact that it finally got a behavior system to curb those toxic community players says way to much, and I don't play Dota because of its toxic as hell community, so this literally verifies how bad it was.

This forum doesn't have matchmaking. You can't implement behavior score / trust factor if everyone is always just in a single room.

You Can Get Banned From Individual Forums, It's Not All One Room.

You can definitely be Community banned from the entire community multiple ways.
