Add custom information Non-Steam Games
Reopening this because it's a feature that really needs to be implemented. There are *so* many games that are impossible to buy on steam or that someone may have already purchased or been gifted from somewhere else.

I add a lot of games to Steam using the "Add a non-Steam game..." option. When adding mods or non-Steam games it just gives you a generic description telling you it's a non-Steam game, using the screenshot function you can add custom description backgrounds. But that's useless, why not allow us to add actual pertinent information instead of wasting an entire page by putting literally zero usable info.

People have been asking for this for at least 10 years. If this forum is truly supposed to be about suggestions, and hearing out the community, then closing threads without saying anything is not conducive to that.

This suggestion is pointless

Reason

1) why go add games like WoW on steam platform when you can play it directly from blizzard entertainment gaming platform

Add non-steam games was a favor to players, but you give them an inch they take a mile. If you are re-opening this, it is assumed you've received similar answers.

Maybe the programm "Playnite[playnite.link]" is for you. - I use it too, it's one app, that shows all my games I own (on Steam, Epic, Ubi, etc.). Maybe worth a try
