If you're concerned about ppl seeing the games you play in a system designed for friend gaming maybe you should re-evaluate your friend/gaming choices

But assuming that I want to be proactive here and save them from the annoyance because I'm just a hoopy frood like that, I suppose an option would be nice not to broadcast the fact that I started a game...
The damage is then already done. They're annoyed enough to turn off the notifications due to a moment in time - they won't know how long that period of time will last - the notifications may stay off.
So, yes. But no, the way it is right now 'does not' solve the problem.
