Delete games with steam mobile app.
Would be nice if you want to clear space for preload a new game or just wanna download other large file size games when youre not home. Also you can check your harddrive how much space you got. Thanks

Not the prettiest workaround but...
Get yourself the Steam Link App then you have a mobile Big Picture View of your PC. From there it's obvious how to proceed, is it?

Aside from that workaround I'm backing this suggestion

this would require remote-access.

Which is what the Link app can do.

Would be nicer if you turned stuff off when you're not home and conserve energy.

I have solar panels. I actually get paid every month for all the energy "I" put into the system.

Anything you don't use, would make you more money, go to someone else, and can maybe let a gas/coal/biomass plant burn less. So it still holds up. Do people have that little to do at home they can't do this stuff during cooking/cleaning/(un)loading the dishwasher/laundry/etc? That they need to run stuff 24/7 to save the 10 seconds deleting takes?

I turn off my PC only a few times a year. The amount of money I can gain per month is negligible compared to the amount I am already receiving by putting it back into the grid.
