steam reminders

it would be good to add a reminder feature, so that when you wishlist a game you can have an alert option so you dont forget about the game while its on sale

say you wishlist a game, maybe its on sale, you cant afford it or justify the expense at that exact moment, but know in the future you will have it spare, but then that day rolls around and you forget, youd miss the sale window and lose the deal.

you could have a feature similar to the popup news window that notifies you about your reminder date for that game that you wanted, like a "notify me in 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 days" option

could be client/calendar based for minimal effort and more profits to steam and developers

In my day those were called them post-it notes.

But there's literally a thousand ways you can set yourself a note or reminder. Your phone has a calendar? Any reason you can't use that? It's gotta be a feature in steam? No other way you can remind yourself?

while yes there are other options, im saying for ease of use, an option would be nicer, rather than relying on external means, its a feature suggestion.

true, but i more mean an in app reminder, as alot of people dont use their email for anything outside of gaming, i mean my personal important email address is different to my gaming email
