OLED Fringing

Hi folks,
I know that this might not be an issue for everyone, since we all have different sensibilities, and that's something that has already been discussed.

I just RMAd my freshly new Deck OLED because of it... I'm talking about OLED fringing. No need in pointing out that it's something "normal", "due to low DPI" or "the subpixel layout", it might be true, but it's also true that for some people it's extremely disturbing. I don't know if it's related to astigmatism (as we've already discussed in Reddit, elotrolado (Spanish forum) and the Steam Deck Discord), but for some of us the fringing makes the screen unbearable sometimes, especially when there's reading involved (and games have text as well!!!).

Before sending back my Deck Oled (it had also an excessive amount of Mura), I tested que Reshadeck plugin for "defining" the screen and it worked wonders. So, it might be fixable via software (here's the discussion https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/18m4xgy/solution_for_fringing_artifacts_on_oled_steam/ ).

For me the changes meant that I was getting less dizzier when using the screen, so it's a big deal.

Please, I don't know how easy it is to implement this on a system level... But it'll be a great improvement for those who can bear it. Desktop mode with OLED fringing is extremely painful!

It's amazing, but it has it's flaws... I was more satisfied with the LCD overall (sadly sold right now, so I have no Deck).
