Syncing Steam Achievements

Steam has a big big problem that is getting on my nerve and making me real sad.
about 3-4 Years ago.
My curiosity woke up and i went and used this stupid program called "Steam Achievement Manager ( SAM )"
and I just wanted to know if it actually works and it did!
i went to revert the changes i made but its just locking them again. ITS NOT REVERTING my achievments to previous condition ( exact time and progress )
and after 3-4 years I have turned into a game completionist person and this subject is trigerring my OCD mental health problem. im not satisfied with making progrss in games since my achievements is broken! i even thought of buying a Console since achievments there cannot be modified. but im just here asking you fine developers to fix this PLEASE!. idk i think you must have a data of our true achievments somewhere right? these cant be hard coded or smth so it can be changed this easy! i think you can revert my achievements to the original condition. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

Resetting achievements can be done, BUT it has to be set up by the game developer. Resetting them just on Steam itself would not reset the triggers in the game and only the developers of the game can do that.

So if you want to be able to reset your achievements, go ask the developers of the games, in the games discussion area, to put that ability into the options of the game.

I think there are some that do it now, but I don't know what they are, I just don't care about achievements at all to bother doing any research into them.

If the game you want to do this for is no longer updated, chances are pretty much zero that you will ever get that ability in that game. If the game is still being updated.... there is at least a slim chance you can convince the developer to put something into the game to reset them, but I still think its pretty much close to zero that its going to happen.

And no, Valve is not going to ask for you.

Already possible, has to be done by the game devs. Games like TF2, Factorio and Terraria have a reset.
