You've been around for 12 years on Steam and should know by now that its developers that set the prices for stuff, not Valve. And if you want the prices to be cheaper, you need to go ask them in the games discussions areas or on their own forums/webpage/e-mail.

Too bad current Steam sale is only 1/2
Bit weird though that R* doesn't have a similar offer/sale as well. I don't prefer using a launcher that just needs another launcher.

Actually, doing rolled sales across shops outside major events/seasonal sales is standard practise. Both offline and online.
