If you want read a detailed assessment or leave one. Well.. that 8K Character text box is right there. Go nuts.
And yes each person has a different way of evaluating. RThere's no set or optimal evaluation method for something as subjective as ebntertainment value and personal exoperience.
The whole Graphics GAmeplay, etc way of reviewing things was never really a great one to begin with because it encourages the evaluation of these things in isolation, while games are very much a sum of their parts kind of deal. Now YOU can break things down into those categories when you do your reviews. BUt other people will have their own breakdowns and styles that the personally prefer.
List of checkboxes aren't reviews, people want to read why a game is good or bad, why to or not to purchase it. The other thing people don't want to read in reviews is a "Detailed" review which people usually never get to the point on why something is or is not recommended.
● A1. I never asked anyone to read my review. And you say no one has seen my review? Do you have eyes? Check if others have commented on my review.
● A2. That's right. I mostly don't care about negative reviews. But those who want to buy the game and the game's developer need negative reviews. Let go of the idea that your opinion is always right. Of course, I could be wrong too.
● A3. I also prefer the binary system of the current system. It's intuitive with 'good, bad'. But what I'm talking about is adding detailed reviews to it. I never asked you to write them. I'm asking you to consider who is writing them.
● A4. No explanation for the score? That's why I wrote this. If you assign a score, there won't be any space left to write because the Steam detailed reviews section is full. You're making it obvious that you haven't used it.
● A5. I'm not asking everyone to adopt the system I mentioned. However, I'm asking you to implement useful features for those who want to write more detailed reviews for others to see.
And what I want to say is, Elucidator explained it well. Additionally, in some countries with large populations, rating terrorism is often done with this review system. In such cases, I believe consumers will be able to make purchase decisions by looking at detailed reviews rather than blindly following what is deemed stupidly bad.
And what I want to say is, although it's been simplified quite a bit by the translator, if you throw another stupid question at me, I'm just going to respond in my native language.
